Korean Buldak (Fire Chicken)

Ingredients:

350 gms Chicken Breasts, cut into medium pieces
1 Tbsp Oil
Cheese, preferably Mozzarella
1 Spring Onion Greens, finely chopped

For the Paste:
1 Spring Onion bulb
1 Green Chilli, chopped
1 inch Ginger, minced
1 large Garlic, minced
1 Tbsp Gochujang Chilli Paste
1 Tbsp Chilli Flakes
1 Tbsp Paprika Powder
3 Tbsps Honey
1/2 Tbsp Sesame Oil
1 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper Powder
1/2 Tsp Vinegar

Method:

Blend the ingredients for the paste finely

Pour the paste in a bowl, add the chicken and mix it well to coat the chicken. Cover and set it aside in the fridge for 30 minutes

Heat oil in a pan on medium and add the chicken. Cover the pan with lid and let it cook for 4-5 minutes on one side. Then flip the pieces and lower the heat. Cover and cook for another 5 minutes

Stir the chicken and add the cheese over it. Cover and let it cook on low for 2-3 minutes until the chicken is fully cooked and the cheese melts

Sprinkle spring onion greens and you’re all set to serve!
