Degree up your potatoes with these Sumac Roasted Potatoes by theyummyvegan 😋⠀

2 lbs (900 g) of small Gold Potatoes minimize in half⠀
1 giant Onion sliced and quartered⠀
2 half of Tbsp (38ml) of Grape Seed Oil⠀
2 tsp of (10g) of Floor Sumac⠀
1 tsp (5g) of Aleppo Pepper Flakes⠀
half of tsp (2.5g) of Smoked Paprika⠀
Salt & Pepper to style⠀
1 tsp (5g) of Baking Soda⠀

𝗟𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗦𝗮𝘂𝗰𝗲 (non-compulsory to serve with)⠀

half of cup (120 ml) Vegan Bitter Cream⠀
Juice from half of a Lemon⠀
half of tsp (2.5g) dried Mint (non-compulsory)⠀
Salt & Pepper to style⠀


1. Carry a big pot of water to boil. Add Salt to style and 1 tsp of Baking Soda. Add within the Potatoes.⠀

2. Carry again to a boil and let the Potatoes cook dinner for 4-5 minutes or till a fork or knife can pierce them with some resistance. This step will assist in browning the Potatoes and forming a crispy layer.⠀

3. Drain the Potatoes rigorously and allow them to sit for a couple of minutes to dry.⠀

4. Add them to a big bowl together with the Onions and toss with Oil, Sumac, Smoked Paprika, Aleppo Pepper, Salt & Pepper.⠀

5. Unfold the Potatoes and Onions out onto 1 or 2 baking sheets ensuring to not crowd them.⠀

6. Bake at 400 for 25-35 minutes flipping the Potatoes when there’s about 10 minutes left. Proceed to bake till fully tender and the Onions are golden in colour.⠀
