The best way to ?
boil:
5-6 cups cauliflower florets(1 small/medium head)
sauté:
5 cloves garlic, sautéed for 5-10 minutes till golden brown
mix:
1 lemon, juiced
3/four tsp salt, to style
1/2 cup dietary yeast
1 tbsp onion powder
2 tbsp tapioca flour, or corn starch
2 cups broth/pasta water (I exploit higher than bouillon paste)
1/2 cup cashews, or 1 cup almonds (soaked in boiling sizzling water for 15 minutes or water all day, this helps them to mix simpler)
12 ozpasta of selection
greens of selection, like steamed broccoli, solar dried tomatoes, spinach, or sautéed tomatoes.
In a big soup pot boil water. You’ll use this water to boil your cauliflower + your pasta. As soon as water is boiling add cauliflower and boil for ~5 minutes till fork tender. Use a slotted spoon or small mesh strainer to scoop out the cauliflower and switch to a blender. Add pasta to the boiling water and cook dinner as instructed on packaging.
Into the blender with the cauliflower add sautéed garlic, lemon juice, salt, dietary yeast, onion powder, tapioca flour, cashews or almonds, and a pair of cups of pasta water + higher than bouillon or veggie broth. Mix till extraordinarily clean ~2 minutes. Give it a style and add extra salt if desired.
Pour over cooked pasta together with veggies of selection. For this recipe I added spinach and tossed till wilted in addition to sautéed tomatoes that had been seasoned with salt and pepper. Cooked till wilted. Take pleasure in!
